Generally, the clearer and more vivid the image the better. We'll do our best to make your picture look good, but for the best possible results submit a crisp, bright image. With custom designs, you'll view and approve a proof sheet before placing your order.

We want you to feel good about your purchase. For non-custom orders, send back the unworn socks to:

Make sure to include your name so we know who to refund. If you'd like, you can email us at thealtaboys@altasocks.com and we will send you a return label to attach to the package.
For custom orders, if you aren't satisfied, send a picture of the socks to thealtaboys@altasocks.com with an explanation of the problem. If we made a mistake, we'll gladly refund or replace your order.
How should I wash them?
We recommend turning the sock inside-out and washing it in cold water with like colors.
Are your sizes listed in men's or women's?
Our sizes are based on US men's shoe sizes. Our S/M fits sizes 5-8, and the L/XL fits 8-13. Use the chart below to translate our sizes to your favorite foot measurement system!
Are there any limits to what you can print?
Nope! Any design that you think of and can get to us in a digital file form, we can print. Don’t be afraid to contact us if you have an idea and want to know exactly how it’ll look!
How do you print them?
It’s magic! The ink we use binds with synthetic fibers when exposed to heat, and we use this property to create our amazing socks. This means that as soon as we print them, the socks are ready to wear. Our finished socks are extremely soft, and the only thing left on the sock after printing is the image. If you were to close your eyes and hold our socks, you wouldn’t be able to tell there was a design on them.
Can you print on dark colored socks?
Unfortunately, no. Think of it like using a colored marker on a black piece of paper; the ink is there, it just doesn’t show up.
I have great ideas for sock designs and want to have my own line. Is this possible with Alta?
